I can't answer why not. You would need to ask Microsoft. There are probably
Win7 groups in general Usenet. Right now MS is only hosting web forums.

Yea, I guess so. I have mine pre-ordered but am running Win7 RC on my
other PC full time seeing as it is good until March 2010 anyway. I won't
even bother installing my Win7 copy until the RC expires.

Nothing to stop alt.comp.os.windows7 from being created. Something down the
alt branch will occur as soon as someone requests it.
But given Win7 is Vista regurgitated, here will do for now.

MS doesn't have an official NG hosted for Windows 7, nor even for the beta
testers for public view. I just hope that W7 (when released officially) is
not the disaster that Vista is.
