I keep getting errors in Outlook 2000 and cannot use my Contacts. What do I
need to do to get it working. My Christmas Card list is on it??

And those errors are?

Sorry its in the title!! Cannot find WAB DLL file.

That's not what the title says. The title is a question. No Microsoft
error message asks that question.
So that when I wish to change something I cannot save it etc.

Have you tried Help>Detect and Repair? (I think Outlook 2000 has that menu
item, but it's been a long time since I used it). Also, did you read this?

Sorry, I didn't wish to sound pedantic! I have tried to repair Outlook
without success. I am using Vista Home Basic which uses Windows Mail, not
Outlook Express. I only use the Contacts in Outlook and an struggling. I have
tried searching for the error in Outlook, no luck.

Can't do that. Using Windows Mail in Vista Home Basic

Rename WAB32.DLL. Then repair Outlook _Express_ (not Outlook).

Had you mentioned Vista at the outset, it would have been easier.

Outlook 2000 in Internet Mode Only mode has problems on Vista. See this:

If you switch to Corporate/Workgroup mode, it might work better.

How nice of you to mention that. Never mind. The answer to your question has
been posted countless times so you already know Outlook 2000 IMO does not
run on Vista. But thanks for playing.

Pity I'm not perfect like you Russ!

However, I have managed to get it working after Brians advice regarding
Corporate Mode. Thank you for your time
