Where is the best place to buy an ATI 9800XT?

Does this card ever go on sale?? Retail is usually around $499....there are
a couple of online places that sell it for $435 - and eBay seems to be
riddled with scammers selling this card.

When do you think this card will be marked down??

Am I giving up a lot of performance if I buy a 9800pro?

Is it really worth getting this card? It seems very poor value for
money and merely a means for those with more money than sense to
adjust that ratio. An overclocked pro with extra cooling would seem a
more sensible option until the next big thing makes them all museum
pieces in the next 18 months.
