Intel Inside

Program says "hit Any key", but I can't find it ...

Has this been removed in Vista?.

About 20 years ago, there was a group of us sitting around talking. among
the 4 of us we probably had more than 30-40 years of experience in the
computer field and NONE of us had ever been able to find that da_n 'Any'
key!

Still haven't found it to this day, but we figured that if someone could
have a novelty company produce a simple stand-alone key that would attach
with a sticky base and was labeled 'Any', you could probably sell millions
of them for $4.95.

That's been done already.

It has been replace by the Win+Win key.
Dang! Another hardware upgrade needed.
Most of my keyboards only have 1 Win key (on the left) and I still
have some with no Win key.

It's a new hardware conspiracy :^)

I'd be surprised if somebody hadn't made such a thing by now.
Just out of courisioty, do you remember where you saw it??

Actually, Hooleon used to give out "ANY KEY" keys at trade shows. I
have one. I also have a "lets do lunch" key and a "panic" key.

You see, since "Any Key" is not a Vista specific or for that matter a
Windows specific item, it has to be covered under a separate license
agreement. The last I know Microsoft's lawyers were still working on the
exact wording of the "Any Key" EULA. They were still in disagreement on the
exact location on the keyboard and whether to allow "Any Key" to be
transferred to another machine or not.
