Where is the ActiceSync 4.0 release version?

Hi,

I've downloaded and installed VS2005 prof. Release. Deploying a CF-program
to a device requires AS4.0. I don't want to install the preview version but
I want to download the release version. Microsoft told me that ActiveSync
4.0 Release will be available with VS2005 Release. Where is it?

my final version of VS2005 is still 27% complete....make that 28%....

also - there is an issue with some devices/cradles and USB connectivity
in AS4 which Microsoft is working hard on and plans to put out a 4.1
very soon.

I have been using the version from the Mobility Developer's kit without
issue
since May.

Hi Darren,

thanks for the link. But on that site, there is only a link to the developer
preview version auf AS4.0 that I don't want to use.
I'm still waiting for a release version and still hoping that this will
provide ActiveSync-connections via WLAN. The preview doesn't.

AS 4.0 isn't going to provide WLAN capabilities, so waiting for that is not
worthwhile.

I also installed Studio RTM and it didn't install any new AS (though I
didn't look for one either because the one I have, from the link below, has
been working fin for months).
