has anyone heard from him?

He's probably sunning it somewhere hot and when he comes back it will start raining again...;)

He was contemplating a move from his present abode so I am sure he is in the midst of it. He will come back as a regular once he settles down.

Oh no. I wasn't aware of this.

Well, if you read this Mucks, I am very sorry for your loss.

I myself have never lost a loved one, and i can't imagine how sad i would be if i lost anyone close to me.

It's a very strange thing but I too was wondering where Mucks was and guess I thought 'probably on holiday'.
