Where is scandisk log?

Hello Everybody,
I have WinXP SP2.

In Win98, whenever scan disc was performed a log "scandisk.log" was created.
Where is this log in WinXP? I accidentally disconnected an external hard
drive from my computer and did not know system was still writing on the
disc. I received couple of write errors. I connected the external disc again
and ran a full disc scan for errors. Now I am curious about the result.

Chkdsk will log error messages in the Event Viewer - System Log.
Chkdsk /f removes ACLs that are no longer used and reports this in the
Event Viewer - Application Log."
