where is my incoming mail disappearing to?

When I press Send/Recieve to get my email, the message at the bottom of the
screen shows the program getting my mail, but nothing shows up in my inbox. I
have checked all other folders. Any idea where it could go? Or how I can
track their location?
 
Hi,

This issue seems to be caused by incorrect viewing of the Inbox folder.
Highlight 'Inbox' and click on View>Arrange By>Current View>Message.
Make sure 'Messages' are selected as the option for Current View so that all
the messages are displayed.

Try it and let me know if it works.
If not reply with the version of Outlook used.
