Did you try importing from the folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\[WINDOWS 2000 USERNAME]\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst

The OP will more than likely get a corrupted file. Not a process to be
recommended

Please ignore any advice to import the file - that is one of the fastest
ways to a corrupt pst file.

What do you mean, exactly, "I cant get the new version of outlook to see it
"?

Search for all files names .pst. By default it resides in some obscure
folder rather than in your My Docs folder where you think it should be.
