I'm using XP Pro. If I right on my video drive Explorer tells me that the
drive is 92.2. GB of which 42.2 is used. This implies that 50 GB is made up
of files. If I select all files & click properties it tells me that they
total 20.8 GB Where is my other 30 GB? I have windows set to display
hidden folders. How do I recover this space for
reuse? If Windows can't do this I also have Norton's System's Works 2003 &
Partition Magic 8 available if they are of use. Please advise

Right click trash bin and purge Norton protected files.

Buzzard, did you click "unhide folders" in your windows settings? You
have hidden folders you know! :-)
