where is microsoft address book locate

I want to start a mailing list that I can put onto envelopes. How do I start
an address book?
 
Depending on Word version, the approach will be a little different, but you
can create an address data source using Mail Merge. This will *not* be an
Address Book that you can access for single envelopes, however. For that you
need to be using Outlook, in which case you can use its Contacts list as an
address book.
