Where is IE6 autocomplete data stored?

I would like to clean up the autocomplete data that IE6 has stored.
Not the passwords, just the entered data for autocompletion in both forms
and also in the URL entry.
There are some entries I have made which are typos and they keep popping
up everytime I start typing a URL or data into a form.
A search of the registry does not turn them up; neither does a search of
data in "Documents and Settings" which is where I thought they would be.

thanks

Eddie,
The "data" is not editable ...... per say.
You should be able to highlight the desired term and hit Delete.
However in most cases this doesn't work ......

I found out that by selecting the unwanted URL and then using the
backspace key on it after it is in the address window seems to work.
I also downloaded "autowhat" from PCMag and this allows most, if not all,
of the other entries to be edited and/or deleted. They are apparently
stored in the registry, but encrypted, which is why my registry search
didn't find them.
There are some URLs in the registry in plain text and they should not be
deleted, but renamed, even if they then duplicate another entry.

Also, I found that if they are stored in the "history" area they may not
delete unless you go there and delete each and every instance of the bad
URL.

I recommend autowhat to anyone with a similar problem. With me it's
kind of a "zen" thing. I like the idea of the self-completing forms and
URLs, but I don't like the typos and dead sites popping up.

Thanks for all the help - I wish MS put all these things in one obvious
place but that's probably asking too much.
Anyway, for the time being, my problem is solved.
