Where is the IE Favorites file? I want to copy and
install my favorites to another computer but can't find
it. Can I copy it somewhere?

Hi Wonder - The easy way to do that is to go to File in IE and invoke the
Import and Export wizard. Follow the prompts and it will save your
Favorites as an .html file which you can then carry to the other computer
via floppy or CD and there import using the same procedure/wizard.

Import/Export Wizard in Internet Explorer is the easiest. You can also copy the contents of the Favorites folder to a disk.

Located here:

C:\Windows\Favorites - Windows 9x systems
%userprofile%\Favorites - Windows 2000/XP

How do I backup my Internet Favorites to a disk?:

Thanks.
I use Windows ME. Is there any way to copy the URL of
these Favorites to a separate file that I can use
elsewhere?

Do I override the Favorites in the new computer from this
file?

Import / Export Favorites does convert all the favorites to a single bookmark file which you can carry it elsewhere. And, while importing from another machine, the existing favorites will be preserved.
