Where is Business Contact Manager

This may seem like a dumb question, but I just installed Office 2003 Pro and
can not find Business Contact Manager. Is it part of Outlook? Is it a
seperate app and I just didn't get it? Do I need to download it as an ad-in?
I hope I have just made an oversight?

Cheers

I have just done the same and have found that it isn't compatible with
Exchange Server.

Vic.

Thanks for the reply, but I don't think that is my problem. I am not looking
for compatability with exchange server, I will be using it stand-alone. I
think my problem is that I "purchased" Office 2003 Pro, but the seller did
not include Business Contact Manager which should have been included.

BCM is on a separate CD in the Office Pro 2003 retail package.

Microsoft officially does not support using BCM with an Outlook profile that
includes an Exchange account, unless that account is on a Small Business
Server 2003 machine and you have installed the corresponding patch for BCM
from http://support.microsoft.com/?id=831747. If you add a BCM database to a
profile that includes Exchange from any other environment, the next time you
start Outlook, BCM will remove the database from the profile. However, as
described at http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/bcm.htm, it is possible to
install the patch and then hack the registry to make BCM work with a profile
that contains Exchange even if it isn't SBS 2003.
