Where is a good source of background sounds/music for web page des

I am doing web design for the first time. Frontpage isn't able to access my
music files - even those homemade and unprotected..any ideas here as to why?
(All audio files is specified). Can anyone suggest an alternative source of
legal sounds/music that I can use?
 
What file format are the music file?

What type of file is it? .MP3, .WAV, WMA etc.... And when you say
FrontPage can't access it, what do you mean? How are you trying to insert
it into your web?
 
The files were wma but I also tried converting them to MP3.I am trying to
insert them into page properties/ background sounds.
