where has the info gone????

How come some times when surfing the bar at the bottom of
the display dissapears, it shows info like the green bars
as the page is loading and it also displays the url if i
have the mouse on a link, it also displays any cookies,
it seems to have dissapeared.

Any help would be great.

Try clicking on view menu then make sure that there is a
tick next to "status bar". If there isn't then click
on "status bar".
