Hello, briefly I installed (upgraded to) Vista after a secondary (games)
hard drive failure.

No problems as I was able to back up OE mail in from original C drive to
CD..

Installed Vista and restored all my mail and contacts.

I was trying some boot manager software and broke the Vista install!!! IT
advice was to re install.

I purchased a new hard drive for my new C drive, now I have a 'clean'
install, and my original Vista install is now on a H drive.

No problems installing as it was only 2 weeks between installs.

I sent a mail in that period I would like to find in the old mail/Vistaa
installation

Should be easy but I cannot seem to locate. Anyone please advise in what
folder Vista/Winmail saves messages?

Thanks

"C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Local Folders\Sent
Items"

The filenames will look like this:

1A93250B-00000127.eml

But you add the 'Subject' column to a details view of the folder.
