Where does Internet Explorer store passwords used on webpages?

Does anyone know where Internet Explorer store the passwords we type in
(using autocomplete) and allows Internet Explorer to save them. Can these
passwords be extracted from a list?

Obviously it is stored in the cookies :) "DOH"
