Sounds crazy, but I can't figure out the path... where is the actual DATA
stored? If I want to move from one computer to another, how do you do it?
Thanks

I found my database in the administrator's profile when I installed Outlook
BCM. It is in C:\Documents and Settings\administrator\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Business Contact Manager

I found an .mdf and .ldf file there. I have a similar problem. I need to
move my database to another hard disk, but I don't know how.

By the way, running applications on a machine while logged in as
administrator is a huge security hole.

To move the database to another machine, first copy those files to the
new machine's
C:\Documents and Settings\yourlogin\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Business Contact Manager
and then attach them to sql. BCM v3 should do this automatically if it
find a valid file MDF file in that folder and you specify that you
want to use that database.

Alternatively you could backup the database on the old machine, copy
the backup to the new machine and restore it.
