where do you set transitions within a slide (not slide to slide?

It has been a few years since I used PowerPoint...I used to set up
transitions between bullets and paragraphs, pictures, etc...I found the
transitions for the slides, but not the transitions within a slide.

Transitions within a slide are known as animations. Here's a training
