Hi,
Where you find them depends on the program. Some create only a handful of
entries, and if uninstalled (not deleted) properly these entries are
removed. Some create thousands of entries, and removing all of them is next
to impossible, even with a registry cleaner application (most of which I do
not recommend using). In either case, "deleting" a program and associated
registry entries is *never* a good idea, a program should be uninstalled.
Why? Because the program may also have place other files in the system
folders, and these will not be removed by deleting the program folder or
registry entries (assuming you can find them all). A random scan by the
program name, executable, and program company name will find many entries,
but again there are no guarantees that this will resolve any issues you are
having - in fact it could make things worse.
