Here is the scenario: I re-formatted my hard drive about a week ago (WIN-XP
Home edition) and updated the OS completely. Everything is current. I then
re-installed my printer (Epson Stylus Photo 825) along with all my other
programs. When I click "print" the pc crashes about half the time, typically
with a monitor of multi-colored vertical bands, not the deadly "blue screen"
and without any error message. The only way to recover is to power-off and
re-boot the pc. All drivers are current. What I need to know is what is the
usual general cause of the vertical stripe crash? Any hints or suggestions
will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom
