Hi there. I need to 'see' my FP published web and as the name has not
been dleegated to this host yet, they say I have to ...

'edit the dns server setting on your local computer to use the dns
servers for the site'

...Once I do this I will be able to 'see' the site in FP action.

I need to know where in XP Pro do I change the dns server, or is this a
Explorer/NS thing?

Thanks

Your ISP has your DNS server. Normally new web sites or site location
changes should show up in a few days. Your ISP may be able to add yours
sooner.

Web sites are found by an assigned numerical sequence such as 192.168....
The DNS translates the common name such as microsoft.com to the assigned
numerical sequence. If you can obtain the numerical sequence for your new
web site, you can enter the numerical sequence into your browser address bar
until DNS server catches up.
