Where did the up button go and why?

I know it's only a minor cosmetic change, but why was the 'up button'
removed from folders viewing when this new webby style interface came in? Up
(to the directories above) is not always the same as back. I know you can
still use the <backspace> key, but it was so easy just to click on the up
button before. Is there a way to have your folders go back to the classic
windows style, including having the up button back? If so I can't find it.

Greg

Why not just click on the previous folder?

When you hover over the path in the window you can click on the previous
folder and go back that way as well.

Still a single click as well :)

Wait, don't panic. I think the new interface is better, actually.

If you are looking at C:\d\e\f\g and you want to go back up to 'e'
you only need one step instead of two: just click on the 'e' in
the widget (WTF is it called?) at the top of the explorer window.
Very easy.

The Breadcrumb Bar.

It has been replaced with something better called bread crumbs.
