where did Swen come from ?

I've looked around with Google and Vivisimo for info as to what is being
done about finding the person or group who originated the Swen problem, but
didn't find anything.

Has anyone seen any reports as to whether MS or anyone is gaining ground on
finding who started this thing, and/or where it came from? Just curious.
