Where did my Outlook Express Data Go?

I just installed the XP Home upgrade from Win98. I was
already using IE6 and related Outlook Express. After the
XP installation, all of my Outlook data, folders, etc...
appear to be wiped clean. Is my original data gone for
good, or can I get it back?

This issue causes many users' hearts to skip a few beats, and some sweat
to appear on their brow. It occurs because the Windows XP file structure is
different and the files for Outlook Express are no longer in the same
location.
It is fairly easy to resolve. Your files are still there, only stored in
a different location. Search the Microsoft Support Knowledge Base at
http://support.microsoft.com and find Article Q313055. Follow the procedure
outlined, and you'll find and move your files to their new location.
