Where did my Address toolbar go? (SP3 or Nero)

I always found the address bar cool because I could enter DOS commands
in it as well as URLs. But after I installed SP3 for XP it
disappeared. I do suspect Nero Search (which I didn't ask for and
wasn't there before) as well as SP3. Is there any way to get it back?

you mean the address bar in the Internet explorer?
if so, open IE, click view button, select view, then check address bar if
not a check mark on it

that should fix it.

if the toolbar is locked and there is not enough room, you will have to
unlock the toolbar, and check the address bar again. You may want to get
rid of any buttons you don't need or rarely used to allow more room for
address bar or the view area

SP3 removed it as per antitrust agreement. Here are a couple of things
you can try:

It's SP3, not Nero. It's not a bug; SP3 removed it on purpose.

But it's easy to get it back. Here's one way:

There's no installer, but there are instruction on a txt file in the
zip archive.
