Where can I get additional free or premium *.DIC files?

Where can I get different *.DIC files for different kinds of topics
and writing, as well as for current American English usage? I have
Word 2000 and cover a lot of expert topics (I'm a journalist).

How might I acquire these kinds of files?

Have you tried Google? I don't know if there's any out there but Google
should be your first stop in your search.
