Everyone but me uses wordperfect. Where do I get a convertor for Office 2003
to convert to wordperfect in order for my office to be able to access my work?

Try the Microsoft FTP server.

FTP://ftp.microsoft.com/Softlib/MSLFILES/wpconv.exe

Click on the link to download the file. Choose a convenient local
directory to save it. Clicking on it's name in Windows Explorer or My
files will start the extraction process. Read the readme file for
installation instructions.

There is a more recent version of the converter; however, the version
included in the DL file is two-way and the new version is WP-to-Word
only.

Let us know.

PS Is the WP file converter giving problems opening the files you save as
Word files?

Sorry. My error. These will not do at all. They are filters for the DOW
WP versions. Don't know what I was thinking.

I lose some of the formatting when they convert from word to wordperfect. I
may end up having to switch back to ensure that the office runs smoothly.

work?

In an office environment, it helps for ALL to be on the same page, that is
to say, a common platform..

Check out the link on this page for a source of thge older Word to WP

PS

Oh my! I am truly embarassed to say that these _are_ the correct filters,
after all. I shall have to check with my mother to determine if this is a
delayed result of being dropped on my head as a child.

You can save your documents in .rtf format, which is accessible from WP. If
I were in your work environment I would get WP and relearn it.

Hi Mark,

WordPerfect can usually open MS Word documents with its built in converter. This may be more suitable for the conversion. There
are pros/cons for each method and there are features that each product supports that may be supported differently in the other.
What particular Word formatting are you having problems with? Are these doucuments you create in Word or ones that went from
WordPerfect to Word and back to WordPerfect?
