Hi- Running Windows ME. I just want to download a copy of IE. I can find
the Service Packs, but I can't find a copy of the program. Can anyone tell
me where to find the program? Thanks. -h

You should explain a bit more.
What version of IE do you want to download?
Why do you want to download it?
Describe any problem in detail with complete error messages.

IE6: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie
IE6 SP1 CD:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ordercd/default.asp

The error message I get is "There is not enough memory to run this program."
The program terminates before I can delete the temporary internet files and
offline content. There is another error message about a corrupt dll file.
I thought it would be easier to remove IE & re-install. I don't really care
what version I download, but I thought 6 would be appropriate. Thanks very
much for your response. -h

Try Start | Control Panel | Network and Internet Connections | Internet
Options
Click Delete Files and Delete all offline content in the next box.
Then click Settings and set the size to 50 MB.

Hi Frank- Your suggestion worked & I was able to delete the temp files &
offline content. The size was 128MB, which I changed to 50. But ... when
trying to launch IE, it continues to freeze up. There's an error message
relating to WS2_32.dll. Do you think it would be ok to try & dump IE &
re-install? Thanks again for all your help. -h

What is the exact error message?

Did you update to SP2 or did the computer come with SP2?
