Hello everyone! I'm obviously new here...just hoping to get some help to an annoyance of a problem I've run across in Vista and perhaps offer my own expertise to all of you where I can!
I'm currently running a custom built system with the following specs:
~ASUS M3A78-EM AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI Micro ATX AMD MOBO
~AMD Phenom 9850 BLACK EDITION 2.5GHz Quad-Core CPU
~OCZ Platinum 4GB SDRAM DDR2 1066 Dual Channel Memory (2GB x 2)
~ATI Radeon x1600 Pro Video Card (to be upgraded soon!)
~2 Western Digital 7200 rpm HD's - 160GB main drive, 250GB storage drive
~LITE-ON 22X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe
~XION 600W Modular PSU
~Windows Vista Home Premium
My first 2 PC's were purchased from a store...then I learned how to build them myself and my entire world of computers changed! To date I've only built 3 systems from scratch, 2 of which went to family members, but I'll never go back to pre-built! Anyway, although I'm pretty comfortable with building systems, I am still new to Vista, and hope to learn a few things around here...maybe even get some help with my problem (see post here)! Anyway, I'm looking forward to chatting with everyone here!
Oh, and if you haven't checked out the Windows 7 Beta, you're missing out! It's made me very anxious for the release date!
