Hello,

My PC had a minor freakout last week, and since then it
loses all my start bar customisations every time i
restart.

So, the question is: where are the settings stored?

(i.e. is it a file, is it the registry or what?)

I've had a good look around in the usual places windows
likes to hide settings and didn't find anything useful.

any help would be much appreciated, i have been using a
heavily customised start bar for years now and having to
sort out my toolbars everyday is making my brain hurt
(and wasting loads of time)

Create a new user profile. If this does not happen here, copy the old
user to the new profile and then delete your old account.
