I was asked to change a contact's e mail address. Having deleted the old, I
put in the new address. But every time I send an email to the new address, it
is automatically sent to the old. The addressee of the old was put into
single comma quotes eg 'john doe' @ xxxx.net but the new isn't and I am
wondering if this is relevant?
Also, old contacts, deleted by me ages ago reappear with full email address
if for example, auto complete is used.
These problems do not happen if I use my isp web mail. If I send using a
'group' list all is ok. I have outlook express but that is dormant with an
empty address book. Help please.

Don't confuse the autocompletion data with anything in your Contacts folder.
If you wish to remove an autocompletion entry, use the down arrow key to
select it when it appears, then press Delete. The apostrophes you mention
shouldn't be a factor.

I have tried that and thanks. But where are these 'old' previously changed
addresses held?
