hi all... the browser (6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633) was displaying
correctly the favicons, but unexpectedly these stoped for displaying, only a
blue E page appears.

I think this happened after i installed a pop-up blocker(secretmaker 3.9); i
unistalled it but the favicons are still blue.

Any idea to bring these to life?

Thanks in advance.

Favicons are not native to Internet Explorer. You need a 3rd party utility in
order to maintain these in your system.

Favicons are usually lost when you delete your Temporary Internet Files.

One utility that works well is called FavOrg. It used to be freeware from PC
MAG, but now requires a yearly subscription to download.

Here's a link to the article that describes it.

PC Magazine's FavOrg v1.2

There are other sources on the web. Do a Google search for "FavOrg" or this link
may still have it available:

FavOrg - Restore and Save Favorite Icons (Line 108)

Thank you very much.
