Where are the emails of MS Outlook on my machine?

Hi

This must be a very simple question, but i am a newby in MS Outlook.

I download my emails local to my machine in MS Outlook. I want to backup the
email , just in case. How does MS Outlook place the email files on my
machine? Where can I find them on my machine?
