where are the contacts stored

Where are the contacts stored in the Outlook Small Business 2003? I backed up
my hard drive onto a secondary drive and acrhived my Personal Folders but the
contacts are not in it.
 
if the contacts are present in business contact manager then they will be in
mdf and ldf format they will not be stored in personal folder file
 
ok, I think I found the database but my computer says I don't have access or
permission. How can I change the permission on my secordary drive to give me
access? (I reloaded my computer to fix a software issue per manufacturer.)
