I sense that you are looking for a series of files (ex: file001.tmp,
file002.tmp, etc.). It is not that easy.
If you have information that was lost (accidentally saved after deleting all
the slides), then you are correct to look to the TMP files. Find ones that
are about the same size and save a copy as a PPT file, then try to open
them. You may get lucky, but the chances are, frankly, slim.
I will recommend that you look at something that may prevent this in the
future. It is one of the tools I consider required for any serious
presentation builder.
