Where are posts?

My computer crashed, and I'm re-creating my environment. The latest
problems is that I only see messages in this newsgroup from March 7 on.
This is my favorite newsgroup, with important stuff going back several
months. Can I get it to show me older messages?

Is there a newsgroup for support of newsgroups, in general, for questions
like this?
 
You can always search Google groups for messages. If you are using
OutlookExpress as a news reader, you can select Tools|Get Next 300 Headers.

Depends on your newsreader.
There are Outlook Express newsgroups.

For Agent there is
alt.usenet.offline-reader.forte-agent

For most others try this one:
News.Software.Readers
