Where are ports

I am having a problem when I connect to the internet. I have to unplug my
dialup and re plug it to get a dial tone. I have call waiting and have
catch-a-call max connected. I went to the trouble shooter and it told me to
go to the Hardware device manager. I made it there, however, when the
hardware comes up there is no listings for ports much less any thing under
it. The way I have it connected it worked fine for about 6 weeks then this
problem hit. I have tried uninstalling catch-a-call but I still have the
problem. I am working on a toshiba laptop. If the wireless connection is
used it works fine. Any thoughts

Sorry I can't help with your computer problem.
However since you signed post as "lost at sea" I suggest you check just
above the waterline in the port "left" side. There may be some ports there
also on the other side.
Good luck

How wicked of you 'shakey';-)
Could you not have been more helpful and suggested that he may find them on
most coastal areas :-)
Sorry 'seabee' - be patient, the correct help will come.
I am too thick to understand your problem as well.
