Where are my files?

I upgraded from Win2k to WinXP Pro yesterday. Like a
fool, I backed up everyting but my Outlook address book
and my emails. After the upgrade, all my programs worked,
and all my files were present. However, when I started
outlook, it could not find my previous settings. I
reconfigured my email server info, and now I can send and
receive mail, but I can not find my address book or
emails. Are they gone forever? Is there any place I might
look?

Thanks for the help.

If you were using OE 5 or higher before, search your hard drive for
Inbox.dbx
(If you are using Win2K or WinXP you will have to set the search to include
hidden files and folders.)

If you find two copies, use OE's File | Import | Messages | Microsoft
Outlook Express 6 and choose to import from an OE6 store directory. Browse
to the folder holding the older Inbox.dbx.
