where are messages stored on computer

Can anybody tell me where the incoming (new) messages in windows mail are
stored on the computer?

In Windows Mail, click on the following
Tools - Options - Advanced - Maintenance - Store Folder

this will show you the location.
Note that \AppData is normally hidden.

Windows Mail will tell you: go to Tools, Options, Advanced, Maintenance, Store Folder.
