Where are "fill effect" pictures saved?

I recently received a new corporate format for all
briefings. I thought the border was on the slide master
and I went to shrink it to a manageable size (currently it
takes up too much real estate on the screen). The border
was NOT on the slide master but is a "fill effect"
picture. I need to shrink it but can't find the original
picture saved with the presentation. How would I find
it? I've looked already under template files (*.pot) and
under picture files saved to the hard drive to no avail.

It's a part of the template. Generally corporate templates are distributed
and not meant to be changed. If you're willing to contend with the powers
that be, you can save your template as HTML and then locate the image in the
folder that is created. Use File > Save as Web Page and be sure to set the
file type to HTML. Then you'll have to edit the image in an image editor
and re-insert it in the template replacing the original.
