Where are drivers for network printers needed both XP and W98?

Hello -

I have a USB printer connected to a desktop running XP home.

I am setting up a home network and am trying to print to that printer from a desktop running W98.

(I have no problem printing on machines with XP installed - but have problems when crossing OS's)

I see that I need to install additional drivers that will be recognized by W98 (in addition to the existing XP drivers).

I can start the multi-driver installation process - but don't know where to obtain the drivers from - couldn't find them on my XP Home OEM disk.

Would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction!

You can, but you don't need to, install the W98 drivers on the XP
computer. If you do that, you can transfer the W98 drivers to a W98
computer over the network.

It's easier to forget about the XP computers and just install the W98
drivers on the W98 computers.

Th XP CD doesn't have printer drivers for other versions of Windows.
If your printer came with a driver disk, look for the W98 drivers
there. If not, go to the manufacturer's web site and download the W98
drivers.
