Where are cookies?

Where are the cookies and temporary internet files kept under Vista? I tried
to open the cookies and Local Setting folders, but got a Not Accessable
error. If they are really there, how do I access them? I'm the only using
the computer.

Type:

shell:cookies

....into the Start Menu Search box.

There is a contained hidden folder called Low which contains all the cookies
from when the browser is in Protected Mode (low permissions).

They are located at these two hidden system file locations:

C:\Users\(User Name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies\Low

AND

C:\Users\(User Name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies
