where are contacs from scroll down when sending mail

When sending a new email you put in the first letter of the email address and
people you have sent mail to apear.the question is how can you edit that file

Use the arrow key to select entries then press del to delete them. You can
also delete the NK2 file to get rid of all entries.

In addition to the suggestions already posted, you can buy a third party
tool that will give you more control. See http://www.ingressor.com/.
There's also a freeware product that will allow you to export it to a CSV

That URL is syntactically incorrect and the one I posted came right out of
the Help of NK2csv. Moreover, the one I posted works just fine.
