that has the domain name and IP address?

I have a Win2K and setting up JMail and would like to know
where the IP address is being kept on my system?

Thanks!...

but where is the file on my system that keeps the name of
the "localhost" and it's ip address? I did this before on
my Win98, but I don't remember the name of the file.

That depends. Which domain name and IP address are "the" domain name and IP
address?

it will be in your winnt\system32\drivers\etc folder. You are looking for
either the hosts or the lmhosts files. But, if one may ask, considering the
fact that this is a "DNS" newsgroup", why do you need these files?

My mistake, this should have been posted in
the "Networking". I thought my "JMail.ServerAddress"
needed a domain name, but its a server address.
