If I'm scheduling appointments in CST and my boss travels to PST will his
calendar automtically update his meetings to the correct time zone?

If I'm scheduling appointments in CST and my boss travels to PST will his
calendar automtically update his meetings to the correct time zone?

If he changes his time zone, his meetings won't move to the same time in the
new zone. In other words, if, before he leaves, the meeting starts at, say
9AM CST, when he gets to the west coast and resets his clock to PST, the
meeting should appear as 7AM PST. Instead of changing his Windows clock, he
should consider using the two time zone feature in Outlook.
Tools>Options>Calendar Options>TIme Zone>Show an additional time zone.

Also...If you're using Outlook 2007 (or later) you should make use of the
Time Zones feature for any appointments you're scheduling for him in a
different time zone. I.e. if you're scheduling a meeting for him at 9AM
PST, you should use the time zone setting to tell Outlook that it's PST.

Otherwise you'll have to do the mental math to schedule the appointment for
the right time in the CST, which I think would be 11AM?
