Ok, since last week, when my laptop load windows, within 1-
3 minutes, the screen becomes distorted. It like divides
up the screen into tons of horizontal lines, and then
overlaps them. After that, the whole screen just turns to
lots of rectanle and line, then freezes. Grrrrr. It
brought up the page with the help number but it was
distorted too and I couldn't read it. Please help. I have
the Operating Disk,I just don't know what exactly to fix.
Help is most welcome

Go to either the laptop or video card manufacturer's website, and look for
any and all updates for the video card. It may be that the correct driver
isn't native to XP.

Maybe its a graphic card problum. but anyway you can try
re-installing your o/s again by using a boot-up disk to
boot into ms-dos with cd-rom support and re-install your
o/s with your operating disk but it must be a full
version o/s software.
