WHen will Microsoft release the next os?

I believe that Microsoft is estimating the release of the next desktop OS in
2005 or 2006, but they have not committed to any date as of yet.

What about when the next release of IE is, since there
seem to problems with XP/IE6/ & Windows Explorer ..

Microsoft has announced that there will no longer be stand-alone version of
Internet Explorer released. All further IE development will be integrated
with the Windows operating system.

Whether or not this holds true, we shall see...

Check out the Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 319124
"Error Message When You Start Windows Explorer:
Explorer.exe Has Generated Errors and Will Be closed by
Windows"

This is not the first time, and probably won't be the
last, that this issue has been stated.

Somehow I suspect he meant desktop OS not server OS... Windows Server 2003
is somewhat overkill for a desktop :)
