When will Microsoft Fix Windows Mail?

Who knows? Especially, as mine appears to work just fine. What, exactly,
seems to be the problem?
Perhaps if you were to post some specific information about whatever appears
to be wrong with your instance, somebody here could help you.

Which problem?

Many of the so called problems with Windows Mail
are actually problems with other applications such as
crappy anti-virus software.

Many other "problems" are actually users refusing
to read instructions or use help and support facilities
of their ISPs, OS and applications.

It is also unlikely that Microsoft will be putting much effort
into Windows Mail since they're on the verge of releasing
it's replacement.

That would be great. I really liked Outlook Express, altough with your help,
I've been able to maneuver around in Windows Mail. Thanks! :^)

Gary, does WLM replace WM and WLHM? If it does then is WLM like Gmail, the
mail isn't actually stored on my hard drive?
I know kind of a dumb question!
Thanks,
Kay

The information can be found on the website:

Shortcuts for Windows Mail and OE will be replaced by WL Mail shortcuts.
NOTE – Windows Mail and OE bits will remain on your computer and if you
uninstall WL Mail, the old shortcuts will return.

Now you can see what a salvation it is that you've been claiming for a
week.

Initial impression favorable and could well live up to the hype
if works.

Posts crossposted to newsgroups marked all read when
read in just one group, my favourite bit of Windows Mail,
present WLM.

Looks generally up to date.

Automatically set itself up with email accounts
from WLMD beta.

Had to reload Newsgroup list... not unexpected.

Looks like only one new language at this point... Korean.

Recommend - turn Active search off for more real estate
and less distraction.

WLM imported all my newsgroups, accounts, emails and
custom folders from WM. And all the other settings also,
even the message rules.
I was impressed.
